My noggin' sure looks big!

On the actually getting writing done front, I've got two stories off for submission and am working on polishing up another one. I've been delving into old files just to see if I can rework some old material.

Winter sniffles abound, so I made some honey/ginger/lemon "tea" mix. You layer ginger, honey, lemon, honey and so on until you fill a pint jar and leave it in the refrigerator. It is supposed to be soothing for cough and cold symptoms.

Life has been quite busy but I am pleased to be writing again. 

I've found several writing resources to be useful.

So far I have participated with:

Cyberscribes, an online (for now) critique group on Meetup put on by Albuquerque Creatives.  Meetup is a great place to find other writers, support groups, and writing events. 

The Querque Quills group on Facebook, put on by Plot Duckies, which offers a structured time to write as well as the opportunity to tap the expertise of Sonja Dewing.

The SouthWest Writers non-profit group, which offers workshops, education, author pages, writing groups, contests and much more.

I've got some short stories percolating and perhaps even a short novel. We'll see where it goes.
